New halter top designs.

Probably the most common way to make the cups for crochet halter tops.  But I just recently decided to give it a try again.  Because the first time I made my cups this way, I wasn't pleased.  But after giving it a few more try and finally perfecting it, I actually prefer to make the cups for the bikini tops this way.   and notice the "V" stitch used.  and Remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel because tutorial are coming soon.

If you're interested on purchasing any of these tops, they are available.  follow the link below

From Yard Sale Yarn to Something Meaningful

This piece didn’t start in a craft store. It started at a yard sale in Jacksonville, Florida—where my sisters found these beautiful skeins of blue and white yarn and thought of me. That alone made it meaningful before I even picked up my hook.

When I finally sat down to crochet, I didn’t have a strict plan. I just let the yarn speak.

First, it became an afghan—a full, cozy blanket with deep blues and soft white patterns running through it like waves. Every stitch felt grounding, almost like therapy. Sitting there, crocheting, watching something come together row by row… it’s a kind of peace you can’t rush.

But what I love most? I didn’t let anything go to waste.

With the leftover yarn, I created a halter top. Same colors. Same energy. Same story—just in a different form.

Now I have two pieces:

one for comfort,

and one for expression.

Both connected.

And every time I see them, I don’t just see yarn—I see my sisters, that yard sale in Jacksonville, and the love that traveled all the way to me through something so simple.

That’s the beauty of handmade.

It’s never just the item…

it’s the story woven into every stitch.
