There’s just something comforting about wrapping your hands around a warm mug especially when it’s dressed in something handmade. That’s exactly what inspired me to create my “Mug Hug” crochet cozies. They’re simple, soft, and made with love using the classic “V” stitch one of my favorite go-to stitches for quick, cozy projects.
What I really love about this design is how easy it is to slip on your mug. No buttons, no fuss just a stretchy little hug for your cup. Whether it’s tea, coffee, or hot cocoa, these cozies add a personal touch to your daily ritual and help keep your drink warmer a little longer (plus, no more burning your fingers!).
I’ve made these in all sorts of colors, but something about the texture really pops with a soft neutral or a warm tone. It’s one of those projects that comes together quickly and feels good to make. Honestly, they’ve become one of my favorite little creations simple, useful, and sweet.
