Sometimes the best pieces are the ones you can throw on and feel instantly put together. I crocheted this lightweight mesh top using soft variegated yarn, and I’ve been in love with it ever since! It’s airy, flowy, and perfect for layering whether over a tank in the summer or long sleeves when it’s cooler.
The wide sleeves and relaxed fit make it super comfortable, and the open stitch design gives it that effortless boho vibe. Honestly, it works just as well for a day at the market as it does for lounging at home.
I didn’t follow a strict pattern just went with the flow and that’s what made this piece so fun to make. If you'd like to try making something similar or want tips on how I did it, leave me a comment or send an email handmadebyhaniyyah@gmail.com
This is so easy to make. Its done in one peace and no need to attached pieces together. Ive made a few of them recently.
Here’s a quick pattern for this:
Foundation chain = 150
Row 1 = chain 5, dc on the 6th chain. Repeat next step till end of row = chain 2, skip 2 chain, dc in next, repeat till end of row.
Row 2 = chain 5, turn your work and dc in next dc. Repeat next step till end of row = CHAIN 2, skip 2 stitch, dc in next dc. Repeat row 10 times
Row 13 = chain 2, sg in each stitch till end of row
Row 14 = chain 2, sc in the next 49 stitches, chain 48, skip 48 stitch, sc in the next stitch till end of row.
Row 15 = turn work around, chain 2, sc in next stitch till end of row
Row 16 = turn your work, chain5, skip 2 stitch and dc in next, repeat next step till end of row: chain 2, skip 2 stitch, dc in next
Repeat row 16 11 more times
Now you can fold your work to form your arms.
I will have a video uploaded for the next step.
