Crochet Basket for Bicycles

Here are some very inexpensive plastic basket from Dollar Tree, two of them are just for $1 each.  Purchased them before their 25% price increased.  The other is also from Dollar Tree purchased after they added products over $1.  This basket is for $3, which I think its still very affordable.  

$1 basket from Dollar Tree.  I made a crochet cover for it with some granny squares.

Attached it to my beach cruiser using zip ties.

Here’s a side view.  Hanging also on the handle bar is a water bottle holder

Here is the square basket from Dollar Tree also.  It about the same size as a milk crate.  

I also made a crochet cover for it.  Each side was crochet in different titch and stitch together.
