Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

 With hook in hand, I weave my dream,

A tapestry of love, it seems. Each stitch a symbol, strong and true, Of all that Martin Luther King knew.

With every loop, I join in his fight, For freedom and equality, day and night. Each color a tribute, to his brave stand, For justice, in a world so grand.

His words, like yarn, are spun with care, To weave a blanket, for all to share. A cloak of warmth, in times so cold, A reminder, of the stories told.

So let my crochet, be a sign, Of the progress we've made, in this lifetime. May it remind us all, to strive, For peace and harmony, to always thrive.

With every hook, and every thread, We honor Martin Luther King, our leader, and friend. May his legacy live on, through our craft, As we work to build a better world, that will forever last.
